Now the fun begins! A
new track requires a new batch of tires!! The molds are holding
up well. I baked them in the hot California sun
for about 2 hours. It's fun when you get to this stage of the game... Did you notice I repainted the whole track (again). I just poured random amounts of charcoal and flesh tone into a bucket and got grey. Here's a big hint: There is no need to tape the rails when painting...simply paint over the rails (not too thick) and then once the paint has dried, take a damp paper towel and wipe...the paint lifts right off the rails yet stays on the track surface. Seriously. Do not even bother taping the rails...it works great!
Love that bridge!! I lowered the lower level by a smidge...not sure if my Fly trucks can clear this but I don't race those anyway... All the other cars have no problems.
